Second in line only to the Teddy Boys, Mods were one of the first major youth cultures in Modern Britain. 50 years on, it has remained true to its original identity whilst adopting fashion and music from several waves of Mod revival, first in `79, then with Britpop and more recently with the noughties indie scene.
